So - Shweta & I have been planning this shoot for a really really long time now.. But you know, sometimes she's busy at work, sometimes I am not well - sometimes she's got a performance and the other time the weather is not right. But we did wait patiently and for that fine day when I could capture the different moods of my fav model...
We started with her lying in the back yard reading her fav novel.... Gotto admit, I got this idea from one of my fav photographers - Anna Gay (check www.annagayphotography.com)

Then I called Harish to come down and make her laugh, so that I could get some natural, in-the-moment shots.... ya, well - at least we tried :-)
What if Harish couldn't make her laugh like I wanted him to - he directed this terrific shot!
And here, in my effort to capture silhouette, but turned out that mr.sun wanted to get a shot here! Why not, eh?!
We then walked to this road where the sprinkler was running for a couple of days. I wanted to get a nice shot of her on the road, with sprinkler in the background. Blame it on the excessive lighting, traffic on the road or my poor photography skills .. I couldn't capture the water from the sprinkler - but hey, I still loved this shot :-)
And then at our final location - we found an abandoned 4 lane road - parked my car on one side with the hazard lights on and got Shweta to do different stuff for the camera.
Overall we both had a ball at the shoot and came out with some decent shots! Thanks Shweta for your patience, as always!!!

Well, as Lavanya rightly said we had to wait quite a while to get together for this shoot. I am a complete novice at this and whatever little bit I know is obviously because of my exposure to the movies. Having said that, Lavs obviously knew what she wanted and had researched thoroughly. So, I had an understanding of what she was expecting before we started. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Harish was very sweet to help even when he was so busy watching a movie. We also utilized Ahaan’s services . All in all, it was fun. Truly memorable experience thanks to my dear friend and Photographer- Lavanya Palaparthy
